New York City startup Servando Carrasco is building an internet-connected server rack that can connect to a wide variety of data centers to deliver high-speed internet.
Carrascom, which has raised $10 million from investors including Google Ventures, is aiming to sell the racks in 2018.
“We’re a startup, we’re a hardware company, we are building a rack,” Carrascorso said in an interview.
The company is currently working on a small production run, but is in talks with other companies to supply the server racks.
“The rack is the backbone of the internet,” Carra said.
The rack’s design is based on the design of a server that Carras and his co-founder and chief engineer, Michael Deutsch, built in 2014.
They hope to be able to sell their rack within three years.
Carra also said that the company is exploring other forms of storage and communication, such as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
The internet of Things has become a major trend, and has seen exponential growth in the last few years.
As more connected devices get connected to the internet, it’s becoming easier for users to control them.
And with so many devices being connected, it becomes increasingly difficult to keep up with the growing amount of data being generated.
Carriers are trying to get more out of this new technology, and Carras said they want to be a part of that growth.
“I’ve got a little bit of an idea of how we could do this,” he said.
Carasco is using its own servers to connect to its racks.
The server, which measures about 5 feet by 4 feet by 1 foot and weighs about 6 pounds, can be used to connect a number of different data centers.
It’s built with the same design as the servers used in Carras’s previous company, Netezza.
The Rack connects to the network by using a Wi-fi connection to the rack’s router and a USB-C port to the server.
Carinas said the rack also provides redundancy to ensure that a data center can be connected to multiple servers if there’s a network outage.
In the future, the company said it plans to expand the rack to connect multiple data centers that can use the same data center as it, or more data centers connected to it.
Carnasio said the company plans to launch a public beta for the Rack in the next few weeks.
The firm is still exploring what kinds of storage solutions it might be able in the future.
The initial design is designed to connect up to one data center, but Carras has said he could potentially use up to 100 servers for one rack.
The service is also designed to work with other manufacturers’ servers, Carras explained.
The servers could connect to other racks and connect to cloud computing services like Amazon’s EC2.
“There are so many different things we can do in the cloud,” Carinas continued.
“With the Rack, we can take this cloud to where there are so much data centers.”
The rack also is designed for storage of high-bandwidth data, which Carras hopes to eventually offer to the general public.
The device is a bit larger than a standard server rack and weighs around 5 pounds.
It comes in a range of colors and comes with a wireless cable that Caras said can be bought for $100 or more.
The data center that Servando plans to use the rack in will be one that has more than 100 data centers, Carinas added.
“You’ll see us in that data center a lot more,” he told New York magazine.
