The Everquest private server is currently on a server that is currently in Beta status.
The server is the successor to the EverQuest Private Server (ESP) which launched in August of 2018.
However, the server is still in Beta.
The EverQuest private server was originally created as a free service for players to test out the latest version of Everquest.
The private server also provided an opportunity for players who had played Everquest prior to its launch to get into the game.
Everquest Online players will still be able to play Everquest online after the server shuts down.
Players who bought the Everquests subscription prior to August 2018 will be able play their Everquest games once the server has closed down.
The first Everquest game to go private is the upcoming game The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited.
According to an Everquest community post, players who are playing the game after the game shuts down will be eligible to play The Elder Scroll Online: The Fallen Kings of Cyrodiil.
The post also states that the first EverQuest game to be sold on the private server will be the game The Settlers of Catarina, which is currently scheduled for release in late 2019.
According the post, the game will launch on June 24, 2019.
However the game may not be able launch on the public servers until the game is in Beta testing mode.
EverQuest players who have played EverQuest prior to the server’s launch may be able access their games on the server once the private servers shut down.
A number of EverQuest and MMO players have expressed their desire to see the EverQuests private server available on the official servers.
As of now, EverQuest Online has not been announced as being a part of the new server.
